Because it is a community of faith, you can find places of worship for several faiths:
When you aren’t celebrating your faith, you might see some of the local wildlife which include the white-tailed deer, mallard duck, raccoon and armadillo. Lake Sweetwater, Lake Trammell, and Oak Creek Lake, the three large area lakes are home to crappie, perch, catfish, Texas-sized bass, striper and redfish. Hunters find deer, turkey, quail, dove and other game in the surrounding areas.
Sweetwater is home to the KXOX radio station; and KRBC, KTXS, KTAB, and FOX television stations. You’ll find all the latest news in the Sweetwater Reporter, the local newspaper.
Sweetwater is also home to a multitude of organizations which spend a substantial amount of their time involved in community service. Contact the Sweetwater Chamber of Commerce for more information at 325.235.5488 or chamber@sweetwatertexas.org.
