Sweetwater Business Park

In 2005, SEED purchased land on Interstate 20 to build an Industrial/Business Park. The plan was to develop the 88 acres over time and have it ready to market as business opportunities were available. In the last 2 years, we have added the water, sewer, and 3-phase electricity to the park. To make it “shovel ready”, the SEED Board of Directors decided to take bids on constructing an 850’ road with a cul-de-sac turn around.  The road construction has started and the 1st phase should be completed in late 2011.  The I-20 location has approximately 20,000 cars and trucks pass by every 24 hours.
