Libraries
Over 48,000 volumes are available to members of the community at the City-County Library. The library has excellent reference materials as well as film strips, tapes and large print materials. A story hour for preschool children is designed to entertain and educate young listeners. A large community room is available for public gatherings.

Trash Pickup/Waste Disposal
Collection and transport of residential and commercial waste is managed by the City of Sweetwater and deposited in a nearby landfill. A construction and demolition landfill, specified for inert materials, is available in Sweetwater. The city is equipped to treat wastewater, and its treatments system is under current renovation to improve the services. Residential waste is disposed of via the dumpster system twice a week.
