Ken Becker moved to Sweetwater, TX in 1982 from Nappanee, IN. Before leaving, Ken was a salesman in a specialty steel manufacturing company. Once Ken moved to Sweetwater, he started and operated a construction company. Ken spent 10 years as the EVP for the Sweetwater Chamber of Commerce before moving to Brownwood to become the Associate Vice President for Texas State Technical College. In 2007, Ken became the Executive Director of Sweetwater Enterprise for Economic Development (SEED). Ken loves to volunteer in the community and at his church. He follows his grandkids in all their sporting events. Ken has a passion for assisting others.

Miesha was born in Abilene and raised in Sweetwater, Texas. She attended Angelo State University for business management and received an Accounting degree from Western Governors University. She has 7 years of experience in the energy industry and has held various positions in accounting at Texas State Technical College, Turn Key Solutions (workforce housing camp), and New Amsterdam Global Solutions (energy consulting). Miesha also held a marketing position at New Amsterdam Global Solutions which allowed her to work side-by-side with many local companies. As a landowner, she has been involved in transmission easements, substation construction, oil and gas pipeline easements, and solar projects.
